While investigating a sexual assault case, he is brought to Han Kang Sik (Jung Woo Sung), the leader of a clique of powerful prosecutors. Tae Soo pursues power and wealth with the help of his gangster friend Choi Doo Il (Ryu Jun Yeol) and fellow prosecutor Yang Dong Chul (Bae Sung Woo). He even marries rich TV anchor Lim Sang Hee (Kim Ah Joong) to get closer to the inner circle. However, his world is turned upside down when he finds himself to be just another pawn in the game of power politics.
