Suda Masaki and Arimura Kasumi fall in love in the heartfelt romance I Fell in Love Like A Flower Bouquet. Following the hit 2017 TV drama Quartet, director Doi Nobuhiro and writer Sakamoto Yuji collaborate again to tell a love story about two young people over five years. The film's impressive supporting cast includes Odagiri Joe, Toda Keiko, Kobayashi Kaoru, Iwamatsu Ryo and Kiyohara Kaya. Oshii Mamoru and members of the band Awesome City Club also appear in the film as themselves.
Yamane Mugi (Suda Masaki) and Hachiya Kenu (Arimura Kasumi) meet by chance one day when they both miss the last train at Meidaimae Station. Liking the same movies and music, the two click immediately and quickly fall in love. After graduating from university, they move in together, start working while job hunting and share in each other's lives over five years.
