After appearing in the television dramas Dr. Jin and Protect the Boss, JYJ member Kim Jae Joong makes his big-screen debut in the offbeat comedy Code Name: Jackal (a.k.a. Jackal is Coming) from Once Upon a Time in Seoul director Bae Hyeong Jun. Jae Joong fittingly plays a top star in the film, opposite popular actress Song Ji Hyo (A Frozen Flower) as the unlikely assassin trying to kill him. Oh Dal Soo (The Thieves) and Han Sang Jin (Tree with Deep Roots) also co-star in this unpredictable comedy about a hit gone wrong.
A mysterious killer code named Jackal has been on a killing spree lately, blatantly challenging the police. Tipped off that Jackal will be at a hotel in Seongju, the police stake out at the town's only hotel, Paradise Hotel. Meanwhile, agitated Korean Wave star Hyun (Kim Jae Joong) arrives at Paradise Hotel with bumbling hitwoman Min Jung (Song Ji Hyo) right on his tail and ready to off him. Min Jung manages to take Hyun hostage, but plans change when other unexpected visitors keep showing up....
