Known for producing pop stars, Kirin Art High School is getting six very special students this term. Classically trained and perennially sour-faced Hye Mi (Suzy) is only at Kirin because she wants to pay off her father's debt, but she's in for a rude awakening when her bad attitude and unemotive singing land her in remedial class. She develops a close bond with both Jin Gook (Taec Yeon), who wants to prove himself to his estranged father, and country boy Sam Dong (Kim Soo Hyun), who wears his love for music and for Hye Mi on his sleeve. Korean-American whiz Jason (Woo Young) has the talent but no ambition until he meets Pil Sook (IU), who determinedly loses weight to pursue her dream. Hye Mi's vindictive former sidekick Baek Hee (Eun Jung) will do anything to win, but ends up hurting herself the most in the process. Love and heartbreak, fame and failure, all await as they learn and grow at Kirin. But who will emerge as the next big superstar?

Other than producing, Bae Yong Joon and Park Jin Young also both appear in Dream High, with Bae playing the school's president and Park making his hilarious acting debut as a teacher alongside Uhm Ki Joon and Lee Yoon Ji. Look out for cameos from K-pop stars like Kim Hyun Joong, 2PM's NichKhun and Chan Sung, Super Junior's Lee Teuk and Eun Hyuk, miss A, and 2AM.

This Director's Cut Edition comes with approximately 90 minutes of making-of documentary (making, Dream Highin Japan, concert sketch, cameo cast, press conference) and 30 minutes of outtakes.
