Taking on his first costume role since Tree with Deep Roots, Jang Hyuk stars as the cursed prince of Goryeo in the MBC period drama Shine or Go Crazy. Based on a novel by Hyun Go Woon, the historical fantasy series revolves around black sheep prince Wang So who was exiled due to a prophecy that he would bring calamity to the kingdom. Growing up in isolation away from the palace, the shunned prince lost his right to the throne but his fate will change when he meets and marries Shin Yool (Oh Yeon Seo), the last princess of Balhae who is destined to be the light for another nation.
