A missing person case leads to a chain of tragedy in the harrowing mystery drama After My Death. Merry Christmas Mr. Mo co-stars Jeon Yeo Been and Go Won Hee reunite in indie filmmaker Kim Ui Seok's third feature. Jeon Yeo Been won Actress of the Year at the 22nd Busan International Film Festival and seven other awards for her performance in After My Death. Hong Sang Soo regular Seo Young Hwa (Grass) also appears in the film as the missing girl's mother.
High school student Kyung Min (Jeon So Nee) suddenly goes missing and no body or evidence of her whereabouts can be found, but she is suspected to be dead. Everyone, including Kyung Min's mother (Seo Young Hwa), teachers and the police, put the blame on classmate Young Hee (Jeon Yeo Been) who was the last person seen with the girl. With the accusations getting increasingly out of control, Young Hee uses her own method to prove her innocence.
