Ninomiya Kazunari, Tsumabuki Satoshi, Fubuki Jun and Hirata Mitsuru form a family in the moving drama The Asadas! Nakano Ryota, the director of A Long Goodbye and Her Love Boils Bathwater, brings another warm story of growing to appreciate family amid loss and changes. Also co-starring Kuroki Haru and Suda Masaki, the film is inspired by Kimura Ihei Award-winning photographer Asada Masashi's Asadake photo collection featuring portraits of his family in staged scenarios.
Masashi (Ninomiya Kazunari) has loved taking pictures since childhood when he was first given a camera by his father. He involves his whole family in his photography, making them pose as different people in various staged activities and settings. These lighthearted family photos win him the prestigious Kimura Ihei Award. After that, he receives requests to take family photos from all over Japan. Then the 2011 earthquake strikes. In the disaster-stricken area, he sees the many people who have lost their homes and loved ones, and begins to reevaluate the meaning of family and his work.

You may return most new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery for a full refund.
