Internet becomes an easy tool for cyberbullying which is rationalized as social justice. Director Hong Seok Jae reveals this unhealthy social phenomenon and the psychology of young netizens in his mystery thriller Socialphobia starring Lee Joo Seung (Shuttlecock) and Byun Yo Han, who is best known for his role in the tvN drama Misaeng. Answer Me 1988's breakout star Ryu Jun Yeol also makes his film debut in a supporting role. A military deserter committed suicide but Min Ha Young (Ha Yoon Kyeong) tweets a malicious comment that the soldier will burn in hell. Her vicious remark incites an internet witch hunt to expose her identity and force her to apologize publicly. Aspiring police officers Ji Woong (Byun Yo Han) and Yong Min (Lee Joo Seung) see an online post about a group of netizens who plan to confront Ha Young in person, and they decide to join the group. As Ha Young's address has been posted online, the group heads to her home, only to find that she is already dead in an apparent suicide. Since the whole process was broadcast live on the internet, the police are quickly involved in the case. After the incident, Ji Woong and Yong Min realize their prospective careers as police officers are at risk so they make use of the skills learned from police training to investigate the incident which may actually be a murder case. The whole investigation process is put online, leading to another witch hunt in search of the murder suspects. After meeting a witness, they become increasingly confident that someone else is responsible for Ha Young's death.
Limited to 1,500 copies, this edition comes with a soundtrack CD, a booklet, a folded poster, two photo cards and extra features including commentaries, deleted scenes, director Hong Seok Jae's 2011 short film Keep Quiet and trailer.
